Ah, how sweet is this! I’ve had a thing about bird houses for a long time and have plans to make a few of them as a statement on our deck area.
I love bird houses so it’s no surprise that I have a few more rough sketches on this theme tucked away which I’ll work on and add to the store one day.
This one is pretty special though as it’s one of a kind, an original painting!
With all this time spent at home due to Covid it got me thinking about what ‘home’ is. Can it be more than a dwelling and if so how would I illustrate the feelings that ‘home’ evokes. I’m still not sure if I’ve succeeded with  this piece but it may resonate with someone and if that’s the case my job is done!
